About this role:
This role will be responsible for creating policies, procedures and work instructions supporting standardization efforts as well as overseeing design, development, testing and support of primary, secondary and tertiary packaging.
Specific responsibilities include:
-Implementing systems and standardizing the Global Packaging Engineering team
-Supporting project and product life cycle involving complex packaging projects.
-Supporting various business initiatives such as implementing tamper evidence, packaging sustainability, serialization and UDI.
What we are looking for:
We need a candidate who has experience creating packaging development policies and procedures, experience working with external suppliers and contractors & the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast paced environment. The successful candidate will have superior written and verbal communication skills as well as project management skills.
We are looking for someone with about 10 years experience working with various packaging materials and working knowledge of packaging related standards and regulations. At least 5 years within the healthcare industry is preferred with an understanding of patient centered design.
